Test principle
The results of the thermal radiation tester for flooring materials provide a research basis for evaluating the behavior of flooring materials in fire exposure
This method is to use a small flame to ignite the floor material placed horizontally and exposed to the inclined thermal radiation field in a test combustion box, and evaluate its flame propagation ability. This method is suitable for various floor covering materials, such as textile carpets, cork boards, wood boards, rubber boards and plastic floors and floor spray materials. The results are expressed as the relationship between flame spread distance and time, the critical heat flux when extinguished and the relationship between smoke density and time, which can reflect the flame retardant performance of the floor material.
